My stay at Buddha Guest House was a delightful experience. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who went out of their way to ensure our late check-in went smoothly. The traditional Japanese room we stayed in was cozy and comfortable, with tatami mats and a floor bed. The location of the guest house was perfect, being conveniently close to the station and providing easy access to the bus for our Kumano Kodo adventure. The owner also gave us helpful tips on where to go and what to do in the area. I highly recommend this guest house for its friendly atmosphere and convenient location.

The dormitory-style rooms at Buddha Guest House were so cozy and inviting! The tatami floors and Japanese futon bedding gave it a traditional and authentic vibe that I absolutely loved. It made me feel like I was really experiencing Japanese culture firsthand. As a budget traveler, I found the shared room perfect for meeting new people and making friends from all around the world.
The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the shared bathroom. It was clean and functional, but I personally prefer having a private bathroom.

I recently stayed at a guest house in a fantastic location, just minutes away from the train and bus station, and a short walk to the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby. The hostel had a friendly atmosphere and a fully equipped kitchen, which was a bonus for me as I enjoy cooking my own meals. The host was very helpful and provided excellent tips for exploring the area.
I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this guest house to fellow travelers. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as thin walls that sometimes affected my sleep and a chilly walk to the outdoor bathroom during winter, these did not significantly impact my stay.

We got great value for our money at Buddha Guest House. The room was cozy and had a fantastic atmosphere with beautiful Buddha statues and lovely crockery. The location near Kii-Tanabe station was perfect for our Kumano Kodo adventure, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was a wider selection of options.
